Futsal Event At Taft
The Fourth Philippine Futsal League Ceremony kicked off on September 2, 2012 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila.
Several teams from different clubs and organizations namely the Philippine Women’s University (PWU) Patriots, Don Bosco United FC, Pasargad FC Men’s Team, Subic Light House Amihan FC, Cortexiphan FC, Letran FC, Pars FC, Children of the Sky and our very own SFU Women’s Futsal Team were in attendance. Prior to the opening ceremony the event started off with a match in the men’s division between the PWU Patriots and Don Bosco United FC, which was won by the PWU Patriots. After this game, was the opening ceremony. It was immediately followed by another game between the Pasargad FC Men’s Team and Subic Light House Amihan FC. The Philippine Futsal League was organized by the Philippine Football Federation. The league aims to promote the sport futsal in our country.
The SFU Women’s Futsal Team will be having its first match on Sunday, September 23 at the Philippine Sports Multipurpose Gym, Ultra, Pasig City. Let’s support our team. Let’s root for our team that they may emerge victorious.
