SISFU Students trains with an International Chef
Southville International School affliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU) is commited to continously provide our students additional learning opportunities through various training workshops and hands on expreriences. In line with this, SISFU was priviledged to have the incoming head chef for Marriot Club Son Antem Mallorca in Spain, Chef Jason Pido.
The workshop on ‘Molecular Gastronomy and Food textures’ highlighted a series of difficult and detailed recipes such as the Bloody Mary Emulsion, Torched Peach with Goats Cheese Mousse and Mango, Carrot and Ginger Sphere. It was then followed by a food tasting segment wherein SISFU culinary students were able to distinguised the ingredients used, flavors and textures of the recipes. SISFU culinary students were also able to acquire new set of skills through the demonstrations by Chef Pido.
