SFU Makes Its Presence Felt in UAE
Being true to its role as the pioneer in transnational education in the Philippines, SFU encouraged Filipino students in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to study in their home country and earn an international baccalaureate degree. In a series of visits to high schools in UAE in the last quarter of 2011, Ms. Joyce Cudale, Marketing Director of SFU, conducted career presentations to graduating high school students, convincing them to hone their potentials as global leaders and professionals at SFU.
After making her official visits to PISCO Private School and Philippine National School in Abu Dhabi, Far Eastern Private School and New Filipino Private School in Sharjah, and United International Private School and The Philippine School in Dubai, Ms. Cudale conducted interviews with student applicants as preliminary to their admission to SFU. She also attended the Parents-Teachers Conference at The Philippine School in Dubai.
Ms. Cudale noted that a high number of students were interested in SFU’s unique programs. SFU offers academic programs, which follow international curricula, and awards bachelor’s degrees from partner universities in the United Kingdom and Australia.
