The most anticipated day of appreciation dedicated to partner Guidance Counselors and Principals was such a big success that even when the program had been wrapped-up, they were still seated on their chairs. A lot of them were already signifying their intention to be part of next year’s event. There were 147 attendees that evening representing 47 different schools from the cities of Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Makati, Pasay and Manila and the neighboring provinces of Cavite and Laguna. An eye popper was Mrs. Carolina Tirona, Principal of Merry Treasure School of Las Piñas, who came in a cowboy outfit to add flare to the theme of costumes from the seven continents. She eventually was given a prize for doing so. Delegates from Chiang Kai Shek College and St. Stephen of Manila were really impressed with the idea. Counselors from St. Mary of the Woods School of Makati and Notre Dame of Trece Martires in Cavite arrived later but still won major raffle prizes.

The event would have not been as entertaining and successful without their support.
Those who arrived early were pleasantly surprised when they experienced the pampering prepared just for them. The Spa Center gave the guests the feel and ambience of a real spa. When the honored guest counselors and principals danced to the tune of cha-cha and rumba, they brought the house down. They were ably assisted by three of the best dancing instructors in town. SFU’s Bistro Lima catered the affair and everyone enjoyed the food, some even went back for second servings.
Southville Global Education Network’s (SGEN) Marketing Department spearheaded this momentous event for guidance counselors and principals in cognizance of their roles as students’ second parents who molded them into what they are now. SGEN also considers them as partners in the development of future global professionals. This night of entertainment is SGEN’s way of thanking them for entrusting their graduates to the SGEN schools.
