As a Business Management student, I got the opportunity to take my internship at Glamourbox. Let me tell you a little bit about the company.

As an intern at Glamourbox, I got to see and do so much. During my internship I assisted in social media branding, marketing, business development, and public relations for various brands they handle. I learned a lot about brand promotion and even though I was just an intern with them, I was invited to attend and be part of PhilBeauty 2014 tradeshow wherein I got to watch a makeup beauty competition, try out new makeup and skincare brands, and talk to beauty experts around the world that were offering the latest innovations and current trends in the industry. I also got the chance to visit Glamourbox partner stores where their products are exclusively sold. During the store visits, I learned how they market and sell their products to their customers and how they go about training their staff.

Glamourbox gave me the chance to try out a lot of their beauty and skincare products. I even got the chance to receive free makeup, borrow and bring home makeup from Glamourbox which I love! I was also able to do photo shoot tutorials with the Glamourbox team that they post weekly on their Glamourbox blog. The photo shoots consisted of nails, tips & tricks, hair and makeup tutorials. Here are some of the blogs I wrote for them: “Watermelon Nails”, “Upside Down French Braid Bun Style”, and “Back to School Beauty Essentials”.

Finally, on my last day of intership1 at Glamourbox, Ms. Lia, CEO and former Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2006, treated us for dinner and drinks at Greenbelt. It was a chill Friday night out which was full of laughter and enjoyment.

Overall, the Glamourbox internship was an amazing experience and I’m glad that I had to opportunity to be a part of their team.
