Celiz Marie Embuscado

After I graduated with my BTEC-HND in Business (Marketing) in July 2011, I went to the University of Bedfordshire in Luton, UK to finish my final year. I took up BA (Hons) Advertising and Marketing Communications. In July 2012, I graduated with a Second Class, Upper Division Academic Award. During my stay in UK, I did a paid internship with UoB through its International Student Internship Scheme.

I worked for the University's Marketing Department as a researcher, wherein I had to monitor the daily online media coverage of one of its competitors. I compiled and analyzed data and made a presentation about my findings. 

In addition, I was a member of one of the two teams in our Marketing Communications Practice class that presented a Marketing Campaign for FirstSteps London. This was held at Complete Media Group, a PR Agency in London. I have learned so much from this experience.

After the graduation ceremony, I was told by Marketing professor that he was impressed with my performance. He said that even if I only stayed with them for a year, he considers me one of the best.

I came back to the Philippines last July 29. Come October 16, I am going to start working as a Marketing Assistant for the Asset Management Group of Bank of the Philippine Islands, in the Makati Head Office.
