Principals’ and Guidance Counselors’ Night
Who said that prom was only for high school teens? SGEN (Southville Global Education Network) had their very own prom-themed evening especially dedicated to the principals and guidance counselors of high schools in the south of Metro Manila.
The main idea of the event was so SGEN could say a big “thank you” to the principals and guidance counselors whom they have been closely working with, and to also inform them about what the different SGEN schools have to offer.

To start off the night and to get everyone in the prom mood, we had a ‘Find Your Half’ post-Valentine game, a group dancing competition, and the first of three raffles with prizes that were kindly donated by various sponsors.
Attendees then got to dine over a fine buffet and visit the various booths located all around the gym provided by the sponsors. This was also a great chance for everyone to socialise, meet and greet new faces and exchange contact details.

Since there were many new faces amongst the SGEN Marketing and PR department, new members had the chance to individually introduce themselves in their own unique way. Some members created short but catchy presentations of their life outside work, while others performed a short song and dance routine. But of course, what would be a prom without a prom king and queen? Winning the title of ‘Prom Queen’ was Ms Rose Magnifico from Elizabeth Seton School – South Campus, and winning the ‘Prom King’ title was Mr MJ Santos from St. Paul College of Parañaque.
The evening turned out to be a great success with over 120 attendees – currently the most successful principals’ & guidance counselors’ night event hosted by Southville! Thank you to all schools that attended, whether you had been to our event before or whether you were a first timer.
We would also like to show our appreciation and give thanks to the following sponsors who were responsible for donating at least two prizes to every attendee:
