General Assembly: Tambay Tuesday!

On the evening of November 29, 2022, Cradle hosted their First General Assembly: Tambay Tuesday! The event allowed the members to reminisce about their childhood by playing parlour games as they bond with other members and the Cradle officers.

The event was hosted by Clifford Cleope, Cradle’s Vice President, who gave the stage to their club adviser, Ms Michaela Campos, to deliver their opening remarks. Ms Campos welcomed the new members and expressed her excitement for the Cradle’s coming months ahead.

For the most enjoyable part of the assembly, the members played several Filipino childhood parlour games: Egg Toss, Calamansi Relay, Flour Blowing Game, and Music Chairs. Through these team-building activities/games, the members were able to break the ice and bond, getting to know each other more.

Before presenting the year plan, Clifford took his time to introduce the officers of Cradle:

Secretary: Sofia Paula Calderon
Treasurer: Keith Austria
Head of Visual Arts: Victoria Viesca

The new members were also able to introduce themselves with a fun twist — they had to dance budots after their introduction. Moving onto the next part of the program, Clifford presented Cradle’s Year Plan, which includes enlightening and fun events such as: Movie Nights, a collaboration with the Cradle, Manila Tour; and Karaoke Night. Apart from the fun activities, Cradle also treated its members and guests with a pizza party.
