Chairman's Badminton Cup 2011
Mr. Roger Bartholomew, Chairman of SFU, sponsored the Chairman’s Badminton Cup which was held on October 15, 2011, Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at SFU Gym in Lima Campus.
Dan Carlos, 2nd Year School of Business and Computing emerged as the Champion for the Men’s Singles, while Jase Corpus, 2nd Year School of Hospitality Management grabbed the Women’s Singles crown. Dan Carlos, who teamed up with Kevin Mariblanca, won the championship of the Men’s Doubles while Jase Corpus and Anyssia Samson held the Women’s Doubles title.
A total of 14 men and 12 women participated in the competition.
The awarding ceremony was held on October 24, 2011 at MPH, Lima Campus. Mr. Bartholomew awarded the perpetual trophy and cash prizes to all the winners.
